I cannot believe that the release is just a few hours away! Guess who will be working extra hard tomorrow… and it’s my sister’s birthday – so it is going to be a VERY busy day!
This set called Fintastic Friends is literally “fintastic”! You can make a card for any occasion with these cute fishes! I just love adding a bit of Stickles in “disco ball” to this card to make it extra special and sparkly!
Do you love ink as much as I do?! Lawn Fawn also announced FIVE new colors today on the Lawn Fawn Blog! These colors are so Summer-y I can’t even handle it, and the formula is ON POINT!
You would be crazy to not head over to the Lawn Fawn Blog today to see what special prizes they are giving away! Keep tuning in for the reveal of the entire release tomorrow!!!!
Okay, so I am semi-obsessed with this next set! I love weddings, I love love, and the Happy Wedding Stamp and Die Sets are so fun to play with!
This first card is my favorite! I used the Stitched Borders Die Set to make this absolutely adorable background! I stamped the bells in a really light color so when I used my COPIC markers, the lines disappeared! I then got a little happy with one of my Sakura Souffle Pens in pink and added little touches throughout the card! The pens are awesome because they add a slight embossed/raised texture to whatever you draw!
For this card, I wanted something really simple and easy to re-create! I used the bouquet from the set and colored it with the most basic COPIC coloring.
Can you please look at how amazing that die is for the tied heart!?! Just beautiful!
This last card was me just having fun crafting! I used some Distress Inks to make a watercolored background then used some images from the Happy Wedding set to make a fun sentiment. I also stuck in a little sneak of another new set from the summer release. Any guesses?!
I love how Lawn Fawn packs so many images into their sets! You get so many stamps for the cost! Remember to stop by the Lawn Fawn Blog for your chance to win this totally adorable set!
Today on the Lawn Fawn Blog, we are revealing the brand new Party Animals Stamp and Die sets that will be released next week!
This set is so fun and cute! It is not only great for birthday cards, but the critters go along with so many other Lawn Fawn sets!
For this first card, I wanted to really showcase the set! There are so many images in this set, I would challenge anyone to use all the images on one card!
I used a coloring technique I learned from Jennifer McGuire that adds so much texture to any image. I got a little obsessed and dotted all the COPIC coloring on this card. Even the grass got some dottin’!
Okay, so I just could not stop with the dot coloring! I made this card for a young friend graduating from 8th grade soon! I love how the critters from the Party Animals Stamp Set go so perfectly with any of the hats from the Hats Off to You Set.
This card also gives you a look at one of our new stand-alone word dies! The Lawn Fawn handwritten sentiments in the stamps and dies are so great because they can be playful and girly while working on masculine cards just as well!
I want to point out that our card camera has been having some issues, so I’m sorry ahead of time if the picture quality of my cards is not 100% this week!
I hope you love this new set, and I cannot wait to see what you create with it when you get your hands on it next week!

I hope everyone caught my video yesterday! Today, I have one EXTREMELY simple – but probably my favorite – card featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog.
For this card I used the Let It Snow Stamp Set from Lawn Fawn and every green color of Simon Says Stamp Inks they’ve made so far! I’m just obsessed with the Simon inks. Not only do they come out beautiful on paper, but have you seen the puppy paws on the front packaging!?
Anyway, I drew a sloped pencil line and stamped the trees from dark to light starting on the left. Once the trees were stamped, I brought in some Wendi Vecchi Embossing Paste and swiped it along the pencil line I drew to make a snow bank on the front. When the paste was completely dry, I used the second largest rectangle from the Large Stitched Rectangles Lawn Cuts to cut out the front panel. I stamped the greeting in Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red Ink and added some clear cupped sequins to the tress. I added two panels of green cardstock to bring in more color and my card was finished.
I hope you’re enjoying all the Fawny’s beautiful cards!
IT. IS. HERE….
My first Lawn Fawn video has magically appeared this holiday season, and I really hope you love it! I’m not even going to describe it… just watch! Be amazed! Enjoy!
What did you think?!
My second card featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog today is a simple Hanukkah card. I first used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks in various shades of blue to make the ombre background. I cut it with the largest die from the Small Stitched Rectangles Lawn Cuts and used the Happy Hanukkah Stamp Set to heat emboss the menorah and sentiment in Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. I took a Neenah 110# Solar White card base and stamped the Star of David in Simon Says Stamp Soft Navy Ink around the edges. I popped up the rectangle card front with some 3M Foam Adhesive and that was that! Beautiful!
I really hope you’re enjoying the holiday inspiration, and let me know what you think of my first video!

Today is Day 2 of Lawn Fawn’s Fawny Holiday Week, and today I have 2 awesome cards being featured!
First up is this super simple shaker card! I used the tree from Lawn Fawn’s Trim the Tree Lawn Cuts as my shaker image. I put in an assortment of Lawn Fawn sequins, and dipped the star and Scripty Joy Lawn Cut onto my Golden Glitz Delicata Ink Pad and then covered them both in two layers of Ranger Super Fine Clear Embossing Powder. I just love how simple, elegant, and fun it tuned out!
I’m sure you all know how much I love watercoloring. For this card, I heat embossed various ornament images from Lawn Fawn‘s Ornate Ornaments Stamp Set with some Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder on some Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock. I then used a medium watercolor brush, dipped it in Crushed Olive, Pumice Stone, Broken China, or Picked Raspberry Distress Inks, dunked the inked brush in water, then held it high above my project so it dripped and made a watery splash! To finish this card, I heat embossed the sentiment in the same embossing powder, used the Large Stitched Rectangles Lawn Cuts to cut out the panel, adhered it to a Neenah Desert Storm card base, and lastly tied some of Lawn Fawn‘s Gold Sparkle Lawn Trimmings into a bow at the top. I really like how the ornaments look like they’re hanging from the Lawn Trimmings.

I was so excited to get to test out some awesome Tsukineko products that I’ve never tried before! A long time ago I saw a video by Shari Carroll where she used water and her Memento Luxe Inks to create a softer 2nd generation. I love getting more out of my inks so I definitely wanted to try a variation of this technique, and this card is definitely an ode to her.
I used some trees from Lawn Fawn’s Snow Day Stamp Set as well as the Love Letter and Northern Pine Memento Luxe Inks. Instead of using water to spritz the stamp, I used Tsukineko’s gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz. This made my second generation not only soft, but sparkly and metallic!
To bring in more gold, I used the Delicata Golden Glitz Ink and a few more stamps from the Snow Day Set to add some fun elements.
To make my card more like Shari’s, I cut my card front into three pieces, glued down the center, put a piece of vellum in between the two remaining sides, and popped those up with some foam tape.
I still wanted more gold! 🙂 I took my Delicata Golden Glitz Ink pad and put it directly onto the edges of my card base. When I put my popped up piece over top, it masks the rough inside edges.
For the sentiment, I used Lawn Fawn’s Scripty Joy Lawn Cut. I did something a little different here, but I’ll definately use it again and again. We all know that for more intricate die cuts, it’s easier to cut it a few times and layer those pieces together – rather than trying to cut tiny pieces of foam tape. Here, I cut out three of the “joy’s” from the 110# Neenah Cardstock and covered them in the three inks I used on this card.
When I layered them, you could see all the colors from the side! This would look so cool in any colors!
I hope you liked this card and will try out some of the products Tsukineko has to offer! Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!
